When Gallows first released their debut album 'Orchestra OF Wolves' back in 2006, it was hailed by most critics (including myself) as the best British album in a decade, with prime slices of angry spazz-punk such as this permeating the release. Fast forward to now. The band themselves have since been picked up by a major label, conquered the U.S on Warped Tour, and seemingly graced every magazine cover in the world. Now I'm not one to begrudge this success, there's absolutely no doubt that they deserve it, having toured for ages in a shitty, burnt out royal mail van playing toilet venues up and down the country. The problem Gallows face now is overkill. Having toured the pants off their ridiculously successful debut album, the time has come for them to decamp to a studio and write something new. Because as amazing as their album is, there's a danger that their label might try and run it into the ground, which would be a crying shame.
