Insider information is great, but useless if it doesn't get shared whilst on the other hand there's some things that are better left unsaid. Somewhere between these two schools of thought sits Mary Anne Hobbs' mid afternoon announcement that "Next up today are the worst fucking band I have ever seen!" Ahhh, so that'll be NOFX then... an aging punk rock band that surprising lack even one decent song despite their many years. To put the record straight, the San Franciscan four-piece are more the amusing crowd pleasers, entertainers for want of a better word. Their lack of attention grabbing tunes is no bad thing in this instance, NOFX have a statement and they make it well. Today's political message being the state of the USA; wearing a t-shirt featuring Bush portrayed as Hitler, Fat Mike proclaims that he wants "...to see The President dead" and dedicates a song to "The Idiot Son of an Asshole". It's all good humoured and the kids love it.
