Red Hot Chili Peppers

Live at Leeds Festival 1999 on Monday, 30th August 1999

Monday was the punk rock day. The main stage begin with Lit and continued in the same vein through Backyard Babies, Sick of It all, Feeder, Terrorvision, The Offspring and finally Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Offspring set included the public battering of the Backstreet Boys and the classic recent hits such as "Pretty Fly". Luscious Jackson, The Auteurs and Mansun took the second stage for the day and the third stage included recent Top-of-the-Popsters Younger Younger 28s.

Local bands featured as well over the weekend, Bingo, Helen, Wack Cat to name but a few. All in all a good weekend, and I remember less as it went on.

The only down point was the organisation this year was very poor and not a patch on previous years ... those of you who experienced it will know what I mean.
