Moose Wrench, a monthly extravaganza of innovative music continues on Saturday, September 18, 2010 @ Santiago's (1 Grand Arcade, City Centre, Leeds LS1 6PG) and every 3rd Saturday. This time featuring Cissy from Leeds, Astral Social Club from Mirfield and Sonver from London and tunage from da Moose. Doors at 8.30 pm. £4 on door or £3 in advance or concessions. Get ready!
Cissy is a hybrid; an unlikely meeting of Synthpunk and Afrobeat asteroids, skewed in rhythm and time, joyful in collision and radiating polyrhythmic ripples from the core and a mainstay of the Leeds minifest circuit.
Astral Social Club is the solo project of Neil Campbell after he left Vibracathedral Orchestra and we are very pleased to have this maverick electronics noise wizard here at Moose Wrench.
Jo Quail from Sonver will be performing filmic atmospheres and textures with electric cello and effects, just back from her tour of Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
