Tag-Team Preacher

Live at The Library on Friday, 17th December 2010

The supplied line up for this gig is Tag-Team Preacher, Miranda Versus The Crok, Ols Moore And The Gypsy Dogs, Ryan Rockit.

TAG TEAM PREACHER: featured live on BBC Introducing:

'Open the sold out 360 night with an energetic feel good set sounding at times like the illicit lovechild of the Manic Street Preachers and Alison Krauss. Despite having to replace their bassist at the last minute their set is very tight and professional replete with feel good songs, mellow story telling and harmonica parts. The male-female dual vocals work well and are in the same vein as new American country-pop sweethearts Lady Antebellum.' Rebecca Atkinson - Leeds Music Scene

MIRANDA VERSUS THE CROK - featured live on BBC Introducing.

'Opens on a real high with 'Bliss' which packs a real punch. Yet they throw themselves into every song with an equal sense of enthusiasm which is matched by the dynamic fans and the band retains a crispness and togetherness throughout. The country influence is obviously present in their music but there is an element of pop and a pervasive streak of punk rock which runs through their live shows too keeping everything interesting and quirky.' Rebecca Atkinson - Leeds Music Scene

A four-piece gypsy folk band from Leeds. The instrumentation comprises of guitars, vocals, violin, cello, accordion and drums. Recently described as "Romany Rockers", they fuse Balkan gypsy styles with western blues and folk influences.

Ryan ROCKiT's songs are about Girls. One Girl in Particular... Callie.
