Formed in Leeds in 2005 by Su Sutton (vocals) and Stan Howells (guitar), Insect Guide released debut album 6ft in Love in November 2007 to widespread acclaim. The album was followed in January 2008 by a limited EP of remixes by Sonic Boom (Spacemen 3/Spectrum). - Trumpets Of Death

handmadehands is punky (not fast power pop, proper punk like they can't play or sing very well), folky, alternative indie band. handmadehands is Fletch, Dan and Chris who all play a range of instruments and sing things. They all hail from the Dewsbury area, made famous by Titanic band leaders and more recently young terrorists and hide and seek champions. - Tag-Team Preacher
