Hey folks, a very punky line-up for this month's BB, pure balls-to-the-wall YORKSHIRE! As always free entry and good beverage offers.
*** THE SWINDELLS ***
"The Swindells are a proper punk band like you don't see so much any more. Not pop-punk or post-punk or electro-punk, just Punk. Three chords, driving rhythms, and the sort of shout-along breakneck-speed choruses that actually sound like someone spraying a can of beer all over themself - the last of which goes "Yo-o-o-orkshire, Yorkshire til the day I die" like some regional anthem and actually makes us wish we were, for a minute or two anyway"...Cath Aubergine for Manchestermusic.co.uk

*** GEOFFREY OI!COTT ***
"Genuine Oi! played with utter conviction by four fat, old Yorkshiremen calling themselves W.C. disGrace, Freddy Skintoft, Spike Gatting and Devon Malcolm McClaren Add to this the lyrics which cover such universal topics as the spouses of the bands favourite darts players ('Darts Players Wives'), northern pride ('Welcome To Yorkshire'), girls ('Dawn Of The Dickie Birds'), the spirit of Oi! itself ('Oi!Oi!Oi!Oi!') and of course cricket ('LBW', 'Get Padded Up Mate') and you are basically looking at a mini modern classic."

*** THE D-TOURS ***
Punk Rock never sounded so simple!!! Three chords, three pairs of testicles and a bad attitude.

*** THE GODFATHER ***
"a punk poet who embraces all things contentious with themes including bodily fluids, classical writers, football and fascists. He combines satire with comedy and opens with a profanity laden sea shanty which sets the tone for the rest of his performance. The Godfather doesn't shy away from controversial topics offering a diatribe on religion (or more specifically paedophile priests) and a humorous commendation of necrophilia." - Rebecca Atkinson, Leeds Music Scene
