"A delicious melanchopera of hard-hitting, so funky grooves, brass, ukulele and delightful melodies bringing you a sound that is constantly endeavouring to really engage the listener and capture their imaginations" - From Hyde Park Social gig

"BandiKoot are a Leeds based musical collective who blend elements of hip-hop, pop and alternative rock to deliver music which appears to be wonderfully bright and energetic but which reveals itself with moments of darkness and good old fashioned British humility...Their debut EP is due to be self-released summer 2012 "

Punk-prog pianist is not content with merely playing songs, he puts on an extravagant show, complete with confetti and conniption. His songs tell stark stories about the most unfavourable aspects of life, all with a sinister smile.

"Some say he only comes out at night. Others claim that he is a relative of the real phantom of the opera. In reality, he is an extraordinary and intriguing new musician who attacks his piano like a deranged Matt Bellamy; employs the stage theatrics of Marilyn Manson; and possesses the voice of... well, that's for you to decide. He is a self-styled observer of art, religion and philosophy, epic in his compositions and passionate in his motivations. Just don't get too near him when he's on stage. He might bite."
Kane Fulton, AudioScribbler.co.uk

"Seemingly in permanent oscillation, from cowed over instrument's frame, to bolt upright, head turned, eyes boring into the back of the crowd's collective head while he screams, yelps, slams his fists to the keys and even more scarily, 'looks a bit funny' at his prey. Sorry... audience. It's mesmerising. The tunes take shape like mini operas drenched in hysterics and theatrics. The presence of Wakefield himself is choreographically unsettling and stylisations runs deep. But it works. Brilliantly." - Rob Chapman - Vibrations Magazine.

"An intelligent, witty musician not afraid to break out of the four minute verse-chorus boundaries". - Derek Lines, Wakefield Express

High Beck Hill: https://www.facebook.com/highbeckhill

'Honest and organic, not so enigmatic, but not a little poetic. Could this be anything other than a folk band? Rooted in history and theology, the band was birthed through living-room gigs across Leeds. The sound is pure and simple, combining lyrical weight with feather-light melodies, producing something well beyond the some of its parts.'
