Gig Review
One thing you won't find at 360 Club is bland pop, like the girls singing about whether you should "call her maybe"!

360 Club presents:
Crooked Tongues:
Crooked Tongues take your favourite elements of rock 'n'roll, indie and psychedelic rock and throw them together to create a sound growing in reputation throughout the Leeds area. Their diverse sound has psychedelic guitar licks, rock 'n' roll vocals and a driving rhythm section holding everything together.
Review from Brudenell gig in February 2012 -
"Contrasting their outward youth, in a move that belies their years is the nostalgic strum and four-four drum that unashamedly reflects the glory days of indie's middle-era Britpop rise. Not concerned with tailing the trend, or even cutting new paths, the foursome embrace a wedge of British indie heritage that so many showmen who witnessed its insurgence seek to deny informed their forming. Lest we forget it's synonymous culture of laddish dominance that overshone the sound, and who's forerunners continue to peddle it's ageing husk - but Crooked Tongues, for all their onstage sneer, have brought back the tunes, with added Yorkshire edge to reinvigorate what once was Great and British."? Review from Cockpit gig:
"This band's reputation precedes them; they are headlining a gig at the Cockpit and they only released their first demos on the same day, so they have got there purely by putting on good live shows and building hype and it really shows tonight."? - Leeds Music Scene

"The Scandal are the shake up that the music scene is craving for."
Rochelle Massey - Vibrations Magazine
The Scandal's live sound and energy persuades fans of other genres to be invited to a new experience of what has been described as "raw" music. Their live experience over the five years has seen regular gigs at prestigious venues such as The Wardrobe, The Cockpit and The Brudenell Social.

The Covelles: https://www.facebook.com/TheCovelles
'December 2011 saw the arrival of a 4 piece alternative indie band from Leeds/Manchester, when they erupted onto the live music scene playing their much anticipated debut gig at The Leeds Cockpit.'
'The Covelles make an impressively accomplished scuzzy but tight rock n roll racket. Tonight, in the presence of a decent crowd, the band race through a short set of spiky, energetic indie rock that often suggests a less conceited, less polite, and less image-obsessed Kooks, with the occasional hint of the cavalier erraticness of The Libertines.' - Leeds Music Scene.
'Formed with the intention of sending the widely accepted notion that 'All northern indie 4 pieces sound exactly the same' into disrepute, The Covelles defy regulations and have created a sound that's quite their own. Raw, gutsy and diverse in genre influence. They have an unquestionable power in their melodies and a solid kick in their choruses. Talented beyond their years and a band to see live at full strength' - Benjamin Maney - Vibrations Magazine.
