Posted in Live Review: The Severed Alliance + British Fiction + The Psycho Strangers

Bah I was well confused with all the band changes and swapping of positions on the night apologies for that was totally my mistake. I did check your myspace but thought maybe it needed updating or something because I was certain British Fiction headlined guess something in my brain never clicked.

I did see most of your set but to be honest it was such a long night with four bands on I couldn't remember enough of your set to really write about it and didn't want to half ass it.

I do remember you covering Weezer's Beverley Hills which was quality 8-)

Posted in Live Review: Foals + Wild Beasts

It didn't take a month for the carpet to get horrible, was at Courteeners gig last night I stuck to the floor! Seriously to say it has only been opened just over a week it was disgusting

Too true about the talking through gigs, in the past six months or so it's been more and more prominent

Posted in Live Review: Scars On 45 + The Faraways + Redwire

How can you pick up on that one comment out of the whole review about Scars on 45?! Calling someone not groundbreaking isn't an insult by any stretch of the imagination, in fact the band have actually been in touch with me to thank me for the review so they must have been happy with it.

With regards to the Faraways... Hmm to be honest I did wonder if I was being a bit harsh on them but I decided to put down honestly how I felt. It's only my opinion and there's no point writing a review that's not honest. I definitely caught The Farways and was definitely not smoking outside, as I've already seen The Faraways before and I actually bought their EP so I do actually like them. Like I said in my review I didn't think they were bad or anything I just thought to me the songs were unnecessarily long. They did sound brilliant I can't deny that but personally for me I just couldn't get into it

Posted in Live Review: Little Man Tate

I ummed and ahhed about going to this gig and decided not to go in the end pretty much for the reasons that you disliked it for. Who was the support out of interest?
