CD Review: Sound Of Guns - Alcatraz
Liverpool lads Sound Of Guns get the tricky balancing act of anthemic rock spot on with their new single 'Alcatraz.' A crisp veneer of rushing guitars, glimmery chords and arcing vocals put a stadium rock sheen on a base of roughened guitars.

CD Review: Sound Of Guns - Architects
Sound Of Guns continue to carve a niche for themselves as pedallers of earnest, stadium-rock anthems with added personality, with their latest single, 'Architects.' 'Architects' is a towering roar of impassioned, mainstream-friendly rock where everything is pushed to extremes: the vocals are bigger, the guitars are louder and the drums go off like heavy artillery.

CD Review: Young Guns - Crystal Clear
Young Guns force together a crunching, metalcore guitar and some fizzy pop-punk riffing on latest single 'Crystal Clear.' Musically, this song rumbles like a juggernaut beneath a fun surface of speedy, Lostprophets-esque pop-punk action.

CD Review: Young Guns - All Our Kings Are Dead
Young Guns have a meatier, hard-rock and metalcore influenced take on melodic punk rock. Although this album delivers a sugar-suckerpunch, it has the big riffs to extend that headrush into something more long-lasting.

Bedouin Sounclash's Last single 'When The Night Feels My Song' was a first-class track, a real feel-good number and although serving us with the same optimism, '12:59 Lullaby' attacks in a less direct way; a chugging rhythm with a voice overflowing with emotion that leaks through unintentional breaks in the vocalist Jay Malinowski's articulation.

Interview: St. Somebody
This is what happened when I met St Somebody, who are Rob, Ben, Arley and Abeeku, 4 young lads from Halifax. I wanted to find out a little more about them and to discuss their 3rd single release, 'Places', available now on bandcamp for the measly sum of £1.50. It's bloody good so go buy it! There is a real sense of fun and unity with the band, the guys are obviously close and like each others company. All the way through there was jibes and giggles and chat outside of the questions. Some printable and some not! So this is what I can publish....
