Live Review: Machine Guns & Leather Jackets + Dirty Weekend + Night Herons + Deathretro
In between being constantly asked to move out of the way by these guys wanting to play pool (on a table stupidly situated 10ft away from the stage), a thoroughly good night of exciting live bands was enjoyed at The Elbow Room on Friday night.

Live Review: The Alamo
Wow, what a great young band. Fronted by the vest wearing Adam Sweeney, The Alamo churn out fast and furious spiky powerpunk riffs with a couple of memorable hooks which kick this evening off nicely.

CD Review: Little Night Terrors - Pocket Rocket (Where The Light Is)
Thank God for bands like Little Night Terrors. Whilst much of the current U.K music scene are wishing themselves to the warmer climes of California with hazy west coast melodies, there are an increasing number of bands who have cast away the flip flops in favour of the leather jacket, smart haircut and big chorus.

Right, I'll get my disclaimers out of the way first: I don't write reviews anymore as a rule but it was the only way I could blag into the gig for free.
