CD Review: Cowboy Junkies - The Wilderness
The Cowboy Junkies are one of those bands that I had heard about but had never actually heard, the only thing I previously knew about them was via the Townes Van Zandt song "Cowboy Junkies Lament." It appears that this was a distinct loss to my musical well-being, this album is thoughtfully crafted with strong song writing credentials and understated instrumentation.
