He was a bit of a negative / miserable so-and-so wasn't he?!
You can't please all of the people all of the time but:
James Smith of EMI Music said: "Would love to hear the new 'Buen Chico' material" - then "The track sounds great!!"
PLUS the reviews in Glasswerk + Music Guru + Vibrations were equaly as enthusiastic
PLUS, partly as a result of the single, we are in serious negotiations with a major Indie Label. Hopefully there will be an announcement before Christmas - watch this space . . . .

Mmm, didn't think the mix was quite up to The Vine's usual standard. Jamie [the sound man] said they'd got some new kit, maybe it was down to that.
