City Varieties is temporarily closed due to refurbishment. It is due to reopen in 2011.

The City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds was originally built in 1865 as an extension to the music room of the White Swan Inn and remains culturally significant as a surviving example of a Victorian Music Hall.

It has remained virtually unchanged inside since the late 19th Century.
