Joseph's Well is now known as The Well.

Joseph's Well has been a live music venue for a number of years now, picking up some of the slack left by The Duchess and evolving into a 7-nights a week outlet for live music from local unsigned to international tours. Now open to 2am on weekends with frequent late club shows and DJs on top of the regular gigs.

Recent appearances by The Killers, British Sea Power, Keane, Buck 65, Kaiser Chiefs, Wheatus, Bloc Party, The Kills, The Stills, The Dears, Isis, Lars Frederickesen and many many others have confirmed The Well's place as an essential stepping stone venue for your next new favourite bands. The separate bar is also a popular hangout of local musicians, including the impressive alumni of previous bar staff!
