The Nation Of Shopkeepers - previously The Courtyard - opened its doors in May 2009 and features a wide, irregular array of live music events and DJ nights. The building is a Grade II listed building and received a radical makeover turning the space into a music and arts-led creative hub.The music venue has a capacity of 400 and offers a diverse collective of the best new, alternative and established Leeds-based and national music promoters, labels, club nights, promoters, bands and creatives, together with a host of eclectic daytime events.
