Tickets for Leeds Academy gigs can be found on our Leeds Gig Tickets site.The O2 Leeds Academy venue is the site of the legendary Town & Country Club, which operated between 1992 and 2000, playing host to many high profile acts including Blur, INXS, Mark Knopfler and The Stone Roses.
In more recent years (2001-2004), the site traded as First Leisure's Creation nightclub.
The Academy Leeds venue opened in October 2008 and was subsequently renamed to the O2 Academy Leeds.
The venue has a capacity of 2,800 split between the main room (2,300) and the balcony (500). The first gig held at the Leeds Academy was Kaiser Chiefs on 8th October [review].
