Red Lion (Shadwell): Leeds music venue.

The Red Lion at Shadwell is a traditional village pub in Shadwell, north Leeds. Having taken over management a couple of years ago landlord Richard Hicks has been putting bands on regularly, and the pub has started building a bit of a reputation with recent gigs from Styckleback, FOG and Chunky Butt Funky going down a storm.

We try to have a diverse line-up with funky tunes from the likes of Chunky, party rock from bands like FOG, Red House or Tandem, old school punk from Styckleback and Vibe, hillbilly rock from the likes of The Cat House Creepers to more modern classics from Jules and James and The Reams.

We are always on the look out for new bands so if you think you're music will suit the pub, or if you know of any bands please get in touch and we will try to arrange something.
