The Taproom, Batley - home to some of the best live music, real ales, fine wines and the greatest atmosphere north of Watford! We have a wide range of real ales, including Yorkshire's finest with the occasional guest ale, fine wines from independent growers, a selection of London gins, ciders on tap and in bottle, and Murphys stout to top it off nicely.
Our Taproom is intimate and intense, and sounds fantastic, so on come down and experience it yourself... we have free live music most evenings. We welcome all genres that don't need several kilowatts of amplification; roots, blues, folk, jazz, alt everything, country, bluegrass, swing, doowop, rockabilly and all areas between.
We have a small stage with a high quality vocal PA and a few lights. We appreciate proper music, do not charge on the door, and want to promote real talent, old and new. If you're a performer, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
We are open weekday evenings from 4pm, and all weekend from Midday to Midnight!
