Hyde Park Picture House is to host an unprecedented series of unplugged gig over the next few months. The series will give bands the chance to play stripped-down acoustic music in the intimate and picturesque confines of one of the country’s oldest cinemas, and audiences the opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the music.

The initial night of live acoustic music will herald the release of ‘Stowaways’, the new EP from Samsa. The EP launch night takes place on Thursday 25th September.

The evening marks the second collaboration between Idioteque and The Hyde Park Picture House, following the success of Paris based folkies This Is The Kit, who played at the Picture House back in May as part of their summer UK tour.

Samsa have previously released several limited-edition 7" singles, and have featured on various label compilations including Dance To The Radio's "What We All Want' album.

The ‘Stowaways EP’ is released on 6th October on Adventure Club Records.
