Ashley Hicklin & The Troubadours are due to finish their debut record "Parrysland" this December. Recording at the Home Studios in Hamburg with producer Franz Plasa, the band will be working with the National Radio Symphony Orchestra of Germany on string duties.

As previously announced back in August, Ashley Hicklin recently signed a worldwide publishing deal with EMI and both parties will celebrate with a show at The Pigalle Club in London on 3rd November. The event will feature the full 10-piece Ashley Hicklin & The Troubadours band.

In other news, Ashley Hicklin has just returned from the A-Side EMI Worldwide Songwriting camp, held in the exclusive Gibson Guitar Studios in Berlin. Twelve top EMI writers from around the world collaborated on material for major worldwide pop releases and television commercials; Ashley was selected as the UK representative and was the youngest person in attendance.

Finally, if that wasn’t enough, Ashley Hicklin was elected to perform at The BBC National Radio Awards Ceremony (The Gillard Awards), which were recently held at The Royal Armouries in Leeds.
