Loqui have this week announced the release of their new single through Sturdy Records. The single will be released on Monday 13th July on limited-edition 7” vinyl and Digital Download formats and will be the first release for the recently-formed label.

The single – titled ‘Hermes Pan’ - follows on from last year’s stellar headlining slot on the BBC Introducing Stage at the Leeds and Reading Festival and the sold-out self released double A side ‘The Average White Boy’ / ’Round and Round’.

There will be a strictly limited run of 200 7” singles (including a free digital download with every copy) available from July 13th via selected independent shops and the band’s website.

The track will also be available on iTunes from the same date.

To celebrate the release, Loqui are playing a launch party at Joseph’s Well in Leeds on Friday 10th July, with support from The Resplendents and Plastic Fuzz.

Sturdy Records is a new venture headed by ex-journalist and Pulp biographer Mark Sturdy.
