Yorkshire rock band Being 747 have been commissioned to produce a brand new musical show to tell the story of the natural and social history of the Dearne Valley area of South Yorkshire.

'In The Valley' has been designed to educate and entertain in equal measures as a 45-minute production that includes:

- seven ultra-catchy pop songs played by a live band
- audience engagement and narrative
- full multi-media visual show and a load of daft props and costumes.

The show will be touring schools in the South Yorkshire area from Spring 2011 onwards.

On Saturday 12th February, Being 747 will appear at Santiago in Leeds, where they will be performing songs from 'In The Valley' complete with props, costumes and visuals.
