Small Words are a 5 piece rock band from Halifax, England. They have been playing their unique style of music for over a year now and are becoming one of the most sought after bands in Halifax. They play a mixture of their own songs and some more well known covers including Coldplay, Barenaked Ladies and Oasis. The band is lead by frontman Patrick McCallion, who already has a successful solo career. Patrick has played his music internationally in New York City, at The 100 Club in London, which has seen bands such as Oasis, The White Stripes and The Clash and at The City of Manchester Stadium as part of The Key 103 Jingle Ball 2008, with acts including McFly, James Morrison, Lemar and many more. His song, Neon Lights also reached the Semi Finals of the Yobi Sing contest and the video has over 120,000 views world wide. Keys player Matt MacGregor is a classically trained Pianist who has transferred his talent to the world of Rock. He has achieved his Diploma in Piano and one of the most gifted Pianists in Halifax. Bassist Jack Walsh is a new adition to the band and is a talented Bass Guitar player and Drummer Tom Kaye is currently taking a gap year to perfect his Drum and Piano skills before he hopes to study music at University .Small Words are currently looking for gigs & support slots across England and are looking forward to playing their unique music to the masses!.
