Local band Remember the Hurricanes have been interviewed by the O2 Academy in which they discussed their music, the Leeds city centre and old venues such as the Duchess.

The band has had a long journey. They used to gig under the name 'The Dharma', selling out the Cockpit, before a line up and name change in 2010 saw the band take a step back, regroup and begin work on recording their debut album 'Electronicadrive'.

Remember the Hurricanes have spent the best part of a year writing material, building a studio and recording the album, due for release in October 2011.

The first track to be released this year will be 'Unsure', a track that was picked up by Tony&Guy for an online advertising campaign.
