Hood have announced that the recording of a new album is almost over: "Produced by Hood and Choque Hosein and completely devoid of title right now the new album should drop sometime in 2004 preceded by a yet un-named single". The album will be released on Domino Records.

As reported earlier in the year Hood are set to release a split 7" single with Themselves. The Hood track is called You Shins Break My Heart, whilst Themselves' track is a re-interpretation of the Hood track. Both bands have contributed artwork to the project and the single is set for release in February 2004.
