The initial line up for Live At Leeds 2012 was announced last night at The Wardrobe.

Here at Leeds Music Scene we think it's already a cracking line up ... and there's even more to come!

Live At Leeds is now in its sixth year and will take place over the weekend of Friday May 4th to Monday May 7th 2012.

The Unconference kicks off the weekend on the 4th May with a series of guest speakers, panels and workshops organised in partnership with Leeds University, Leeds Metropolitan University and Leeds College of Music.

Saturday will be the main event for most Leeds music fans. The "Live At Leeds Festival" lets a wristband holder watch any of 100 bands across 11 stages at 9 venues around Leeds.

Wristbands for the Saturday event cost £20 and can be bought from See Tickets.

On the Saturday there will also be a separate event at Millennium Square in Leeds headlined by Example, with support from Wretch 32. This event is not accessible via a wristband, and a separate ticket is required.

If you want to see Example in Millennium Square, the tickets are on sale separately from See Tickets priced at £25.

On Sunday the Cockpit will host a hangover music event featuring BBC Sound nominee Stooshe and the weekend ends on Monday with the second Live At Leeds football tournament, hosted at Goals Leeds. Current champions the Pigeon Detectives will return to defend their title.
