This week organisers of the annual Reading and Leeds Festival announced another wave of bands for the annual August bank holiday music festival.

The Main Stage line up has been extended to include Don Broco, and The Pretty Reckless.

The NME/Radio 1 Stage line-up continues to impress with the additions this week including the brilliantly entertaining Darwin Deez, alternative rock band Deaf Havana, hotly tipped Night Engine, Irish folk band Villagers and Californian surf-rockers Wavves.

Alvin Risk, Post War Years and electronic music duo Pegboard Nerds have all been added to the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage.

Over on the Lock Up/Rock Stage additions are Feed The Rhino,Sonic Boom Six, The Creepshow, Rat Attack, Palm Reader, Gnarwolves, Off With Their Heads, Chuck Ragan, Anti Vigilante, Sharks, Great Cynics, Filter, Hacktivist, The Virginmarys, Beware Of Darkness, and Hawk Eyes.

The Festival Republic Stage continues to deliver the best music stars of tomorrow, as it says hello to LA based four-piece PAPA and critically acclaimed electronic music duo Mount Kimbie, along with Charlie Boyer And The Voyeurs, Savages, DIIV, Dan Croll, Sons & Lovers, Frankie & The Heartstrings, The Valley Below, China Rats and San Cisco.

Finally Itch will appear on the BBC Radio 1Xtra Stage, joined by Chance The Rapper.
