jamiesaysmile is the work of Wakefield solo artist and songwriter/producer Dan Hayes. The jamiesaysmile one-man recordings showcase a big 'full band' sound with DIY, high production values; cerebral yet heartfelt, the tracks have been described as melodic-indie-emo-pop. The songs also prove to successfully translate into stripped-back acoustic / vocal versions, offering a very different, delicate and intimate style and further highlighting the often-interesting guitar work and powerful vocal.
