Organisers of the Leeds Festival today announced Blink 182 would be headlining the Main Stage at Leeds 2014.

In today's announcement, also confirmed to be appearing at Leeds 2014 are Jake Bugg, Disclosure, Metronomy, Of Mice & Men, Wilkinson and I Am Legion.

Firm fan favourites, Blink 182 first played at the Leeds Festival in 1999 on the VANS Varped Stage before returning a year later on the Main Stage in 2000 [review]. They returned in 2003 [review] and then again as Main Stage headliners in 2010 [review].

In what will be their fifth appearance at the festival, Blink 182 are set to bring their incendiary punk-pop anthems back in 2014 to headline the Main Stage once again for what is guaranteed to be an amazing show.

Festival boss Melvin Benn said, "I know our fans will be delighted to welcome back our first headliners, Blink 182, with what promises to be an amazing show, as well as the brilliant Jake Bugg stepping up to the Main Stage."

Tickets can be bought now - with a £50 deposit - from See Tickets and Ticketmaster.

Hundreds more bands will be confirmed over the coming months.
