The line-up for the Main Stage and Robert Watts Marquee Stage has been announced for this year's Oakwell Music Festival to be held on Saturday 12th July.

This outdoor festival will be headlined by chart toppers The Hoosiers, who will be joined on the main stage by Lucy Spraggan, The Dunwells, X-Factor finalists Kingsland Road, Rory Hoy, Famous Villains and Redemtion.

The Robert Watts Marquee stage will enjoy Mark Morriss from the Bluetones, the Littlemores, Talk in Code, Grace Solero, Adorned, City Of Lights, Aztec Doll, Battle of the bands winner, sponsored by Kirklees College and 633 Squadron.

A third, acoustic stage has been added to the event with the line-up still to be announced.

Organiser Paul Fisher said, "We've been overwhelmed by the amount of high calibre bands that have applied to play the festival and we've had to put on a third acoustic stage to accommodate more acts. We're delighted to have been able to attract such acts to our first Oakwell Festival."

This is the first music festival to be held at Oakwell Hall Country Park and the organisers hope it will be the first many.

Tickets are on sale now from Yorkshire Gig Guide. Prices are £20 for adults, £10 concessions (11-16 yrs) and children aged 10 and under go free.
