UK electropop duo Park Fires have released their new single Deadbeat City. The infectious new track combines a singalong disco chorus with pulsating electro beats and socially conscious lyrics.

Since forming two years ago, Park Fires have been busy perfecting their hybrid of pure pop melodies, acerbic Northern lyrics and electro soundscapes. Adopting a punk-esque DIY work ethic and ethos to their fiery brand of mainstream pop has quickly led to BBC Introducing airplay and live sessions, festival appearances and glowing online coverage from the UK, USA and Europe. Influenced by synth pop pioneers The Human League and sharing DNA with electro contemporaries Chvrches and Years & Years, the girls have played a string of sell out shows in Leeds and featured regularly on local and online radio. One of the few singles in 2016 to attack the growing social and economic divide in Brexit Britain, Deadbeat City might have thought-provoking and hard-hitting lyrical content but it comes wrapped in one of the most infectious and rousing choruses you'll hear all year.

Park Fires will be playing live dates this Autumn.
