Wakefield firebrand singer-songwriter Louise Distras pays homage to punk legends Green Day in a new video covering their 1997 hit 'Nice Guys Finish Last'.

Originally recorded and released as part of Kerrang! Magazine's 'American Superhits' CD, Distras says "I chose to cover 'Nice Guys Finish Last' because it's one of my favourite tracks from 'Nimrod'. It's a classic Green Day track that got me through being bullied at high school, so me and my band decided to keep our cover original and fun. Green Day's music is a big inspiration to me and I'm honoured to be a part of this 30th birthday tribute!"

'American Superhits' also features Twin Atlantic, Andy Black, Waterparks, Roam, Milk Teeth, Hellions, Beach Slang, The Interrupters and more.

Kerrang! describes Louise as 'the most exciting voice in UK punk right now' and have compared her to Hole, The Distillers and The Muffs.
