Leeds-based crowd pullers Bridewell Taxis are set to hand their fans a double Christmas treat.

The band will be launching a copy of their new DVD - live at Joseph's Well - on Thursday, 8th December when they play at Pudsey's Bien Venue.

And the Bridewells have also been in the recoding studio for the first time in 14 years, putting the finishing touches to a six-track demo which will also be distributed in December.

The demo features a mix of new material and re-worked tunes and is expected to be made available to fans early in the New Year.

Bridewell Taxis are in the process of confirming a series of dates for early 2006 which is expected to culminate in their biggest hometown show since 1991.

Local DJs Simon Scott and Andy Pye will be appearing alongside the Bridewells at Bien Venue in December.
