Following the launch of 20/20/2 Vision 2007 at the Faversham on 6th April, 20 local bands and 20 local film-makers have been working hard to come up with twenty music videos in just two weeks.

Once completed, a winning video will be picked from a judging panel including such illustrious names as Dick Carruthers, who has filmed bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Who and Oasis and Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Mean Fiddler, the organisers of Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival. There will also be a chance for the public to vote when the videos are shown on the big screen at Leeds Millennium Square on 27th April.

The winning video will be screened at Leeds Festival before headliners Red Hot Chilli Peppers take to the stage. Prizes also include recording studio time at Host and Touchwood Studios in Leeds and the chance for some of the film-makers to produce a documentary.

The announcement of the winner will take place at a public award ceremony at the Wardrobe in Leeds on 28th April and will feature live music, film screenings and special guests.

The twenty local bands include Shiva State, Box, The Hair, Vessels, Hung Honey, Molotov Sandwich, The Sound of the Baskervilles, Dan Audio, Dan Smith, Troy Faid, Tigers That Talked, Kid Id, Breaking The Illusion, Kockee K, Pushbike Army, Terri Shaltiel, Rochelle, Sky Larkin, Frankie Eisenhower and Augustine.
