A trio of Leeds bands were last night revealed as part of Mean Fiddler’s second line-up announcement for the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival 2007.

The Sunshine Underground and Hadouken! will both appear on the NME / Radio One Stage on Friday, 24th August, with The Pigeon Detectives scheduled to appear on Sunday, 26th August.

Other bands revealed for the three-day August Bank Holiday music festival include The Used, Hellogoodbye, and Gym Class Heroes (Main Stage, Friday), Jimmy Eat World, The Long Blondes, Little Man Tate and The Pipettes (Main Stage, Saturday), The Shins, Eagles Of Death Metal and Dead 60s (Main Stage, Sunday).

As well as the three Leeds band announced above, the following bands join them on the NME / Radio One Stage: Jamie T, Cold War Kids, The Maccabees, New Young Pony Club and Late Of The Pier (Friday); Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, The Enemy, The Horrors and Sparta (Saturday); Dinosaur Jr, The Young Knives, Nine Black Alps, Good Shoes and The Noisettes (Sunday).
