Bad Sneakers Records have today announced that they will be releasing two singles by the Leeds-based four-piece Middleman. Middleman write vibrant, catchy tunes with booming bass, cheeky melodies and smart lyrics which defy categorisation, and their debut single will be released on Monday, 2nd July.

The A-side of the single will be “Blah Blah Blah”, and it is set to come backed with “When You’re In Love”.

Middleman have already been kicking up a storm with last year’s 3 track demo which received plays from Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens on Radio 1, including a Maida Vale session, and has steadily seen them build up a strong local following. Huw Stephens declared the band his "hottest tip for 2007", and Middleman were also nominated for the Unsigned Act of the Year by Channel 4.

Middleman have a number of shows lined up in Leeds. Their next gig is at the HiFi Club on 4th May.
