Corinne Bailey Rae has been nominated for the 2007 MTV Europe Music Awards in the Ultimate Urban category and as Best UK Female Artist in the 2007 MOBO Awards.

Alongside work on her new album, the Leeds-based artist has been collaborating with numerous musicians. Her contribution to the Radio 1 40th Anniversary album will be a guitar-heavy blast of The Raconteurs' single 'Steady As She Goes' (you can hear the first play on Chris Moyles' Radio 1 Breakfast show on Monday 17th September).

Corinne has also been working with Herbie Hancock on his Joni Mitchell tribute album 'The River', where Corinne sings the title track.
