This is a review of "Untitled" recorded by Sam and Anna. The review was written by Matthew Walton in 2008.

Sam and Anna hail from the band “Crash Ride”, and are the envy of most musicians, being able to play at this standard and still in their teens.

The acoustic style they have adopted is very chilled and laidback, but technically competent and very easy on the ears. The 2 of them manage to combine faultlessly, with the vocal talent belying their youthful years.

The first track “Dance With Me” is the pick of the bunch. Their influences include KT Tunstall, and this is evident in this instantly likeable song.

The other stand out track in my opinion is “The Serious Contenders” which showcases the vocal talents of Sam, and the technical ability of Anna.

When musicians like Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. achieve national press attention, I see no reason why this Leeds twosome cannot reach similar heights. The styles are similar, and being local girls, they definitely get my vote. I for one will be hoping to catch them live and hear them in all their glory, as a CD will not do justice to the real thing.
