The Sighting are a West Yorkshire based indie-rock band.

The Sighting are a West Yorkshire based indie-rock band. The band was formed after the break up of a previous band consisting of several current members. In October 2007 vocalist Marc Gunjal joined and completed the 5 piece line up.

As each member has a different style and influences, no 2 of the bands songs are alike! The band have played many gigs around the Yorkshire area including intimate "private" gigs as well as summer festivals, and have received very good comments and interest from both audiences and venues. Press around Batley and Dewsbury have also run articles on the band.
