Capital State sign record deal

Capital State have signed a recording contract with London-based record label, Out of Time. The label is licensed by an un-named major label. In addition, on the publishing front the Leeds-based band are being heavily pursued by Chrysalis and have been for some time.

They do their last gig in Leeds for some time on the 27th September at the Royal Park Cellars before heading out around the UK promoting their EP.

They also headline at Wakeystock on the 28th September, moving on to the Barfly in Glasgow on the 4th October.

The new EP is scheduled for a January 2003 release.
