We are Fairway View, a rock band from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. We are heavily influenced by American Rock genre bands like Nickelback, Daughtry, Alter Bridge and Creed, and lyrically influenced by Bon Jovi and The Calling. The band consists of Carl Haigh (Vocals), Gavin Haigh (Lead Guitars), Craig Blakeley (Bass) and Ben Wales (Drums). Fairway View were formed in mid 2008 and started to play gigs in and around the Dewsbury and Wakefield areas. By early 2009, the band had begun to branch out to areas like Leeds, York, and even Sheffield. In May 2009, the band opened for Scottish rock band Logan - who opened for Bon Jovi in Glasgow in 2008 - at the Corporation in Sheffield. Fairway View will shortly be recording their new E.P which is yet to be named and will consist of brand new songs, some of which have been heard at various shows.
