Raise the Roof Festival 2013 will return to the VOX Warehouse in Leeds this weekend after a triumphant event last October.

Revellers on Saturday 23rd February can expect more live music, guerilla theatrics and costumed tomfoolery as a theme based around interstellar adventures will form a surreal backdrop to a colourful cross-section of bands and DJs.

Ska and reggae champions The Beat are set to headline the event with the 10-piece band providing a full hour-long set.

Supporting acts include explosive pop quartet Middleman, an extended DJ set from the renegade crew Dub Pistols, and a performance from the live afro-beat/hip-hop collective Nubiyan Twist.

Also on the bill are Benson, who open the show with brass-backed rock n roll reminiscent of Madness.

In between live acts there will be DJ sets encompassing roots and reggae, old school hip-hop, breaks, 2-tone, rocksteady, dub-step and plenty more.

Tickets for the event are still available from Crash and Jumbo Records via the Yorkshire Gig Guide website.
