Yorkshire black/death metal band
Sheol originally formed in 2012, yet developed into a full band in 2013. A melodic mix of Black and Death metal, with many influences including Behemoth, Belphegor and Watain. In Hebrew, Sheol is the earliest conception of the afterlife in the Jewish scriptures. It is a place of darkness to which all dead go, regardless of the moral choices made in life, and where they are "removed from the light of God".
Sheol have just released their first five track live demo which can be found on the Sheol bandcamp page (sheolofficial.bandcamp.com)
Sheol are looking forward to recording a full album for release, as well as expanding their fan base throughout the UK, as well as the Leeds area.
