This is a review of "Receding Hairline" recorded by Dumbsoda. The review was written by Dave Sugden in 2003.

Leeds four-piece Dumbsoda make good their attempt at agro-punk. Fast guitars, stop starts, "hey", "ho", and "lets go" used in abundance, and a distinct Celtic influence. A noticeable reference point is Rancid (Drivin Over 60) but the air is equally filled with Dropkick Murphys; the gun front cover design takes a little from The Gang's All Here, while vocalist Adam's harmonica playing puts the seal on a pleasant 4-track EP.
