The Glitterati release their third single Back In Power through Infectious / Atlantic Records on October 11th 2004. It follows their critically acclaimed debut "Do You Love Yourself" which was released on Poptones in October 2003 and their first single for the legendary Atlantic label, "Here Comes A Close Up" in April of this year.The single, recorded with lauded producer Mike Clink (Guns'n'Roses) in LA in May of this year is a near perfect summation of the bands scuzzed up approach to classic rock n roll, recalling the greatest moments from the likes of The Stooges, New York Dolls and Guns'n'Roses.
The Glitterati plan to release their debut album in the early part of 2005, and have announced their first UK headline tour to coincide with the new single. You'll have to wait for Fibbers (York) on October 7th or Night & Day (Manchester) on October 12th for gigs near Leeds.
