On January 6th 2005, LMUSU will play host to a large fundraising event, to raise money to help the people of Ethiopia. January 6th is Christmas Eve in Ethiopia, and the gig will be opened by a now Leeds-resident Ethiopian choir singing at 9pm (which is midnight in their homeland).

The event will be across two stages, the main stage playing host to some of West Yorkshire's best bands, both established and up-and-coming, and across a wide array of genres from punk-rock to blues.

The smaller stage will run simultaneously, and will feature the best of the region's acoustic talent.

There will be full media coverage of the event, and any bands that would like to get involved should email acousticrevolution@hotmail.com.
