Add9 started in October 2003 when a group of 8 Leeds University Music students discovered how much free time they were going to have over the next 3 years. After some time they began to forge a groove based style allowing for chunky riffs and huge improvised solos. Awesome.

Now, in 2006, with prestigious events such as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Bretton Hall Music Festival under their belts, Add9 are raring to go and do some more stuff like that. Funk is their game, but it's not their name, that is Add9.

A unique blend of almost every style you can think of, with a healthy dose of PURE ENERGY and passion for live performance, will guarantee involuntary hip gyration. Add9.
