Formed in 2006 - padfoot are a folk band with influences ranging from bluegrass, blues, ceol gaidhlig and much more.Principle players: -
Mr Alan Dawson - the tenor banjo, the 5-string banjo, the octave mandolin, the mandolin, the bass guitar, vocals.
Mr Andrew David Mills - the guitar, the octave mandolin, the mandolin-banjo, the bass guitar, vocals.
Mr Dawson and Mr Mills play in Leeds Psychedelic band Monmon but also share a love of folk music, Mr Dawson being an ex-member of Leeds' Wedding Present spin-off Ukrainian band 'The Ukrainians' and Mills playing and recording several DiY acoustic LPs.
